PRACTICAL INFORMATION

1.   VENUE

2.   REGISTRATION  

The Registration desk is located E- Floor (Entresuelo) of the Hotel Sercotel Sorolla Palace.

Registration desk opening hours: 
– Saturday, 6 May  11:00 – 19:00  
– Sunday, 7 May 08:00 – 18:00   

Delegates who have not yet settled the registration fee in full will be asked to pay the amount due. The Registration desk accepts Credit / Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard) or cash (EUR only).   

Badges  

Name badge shall always be worn when attending the sessions and official programme.   

 3. SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

Oral Presentations   

Please note that you cannot use your computer to present due to the complexity of the streaming setup.   

To give a presentation, you must deliver your files to the Lecture room at least 1 break ahead of your session (during breaks). AV technicians will check the presentation setting, videos, fonts, or similar and they will assist with possible issues.

Please bring your USB flash disk with your presentation. When saving your final presentation to the USB stick, make sure to include your video files and all links to these multimedia files if you use them for your presentation.

Poster Presentations 

Please read the following guidelines carefully when preparing your poster.   

You are kindly asked to prepare your poster in the PORTRAIT ORIENTATION.    

Maximum dimensions of a poster: width 95 cm x height 136 cm   

The poster area will be in the foyer and meeting room. Open for mounting as of Saturday, 6 May, at 11:00.  Each poster has a Poster Number (communicated to you). Mounting materials and on-site assistance will be available.   

There will be an opportunity for a dedicated poster discussion (no other sessions scheduled during that time) on 7 May from 13:30 – 16:00.  During the poster session committee will evaluate the displayed poster for Best Poster Awards (3 prizes).

4.   SOCIAL PROGRAMME  

 Those who booked the dinner are welcome to meet on the E-Floor (Entresuello), where the symposium is taking place.

5.   OTHER

Certificate of Attendance   

All registered and attending participants can download their Certificate of Attendance in the registration portal. 

Lunch  

Lunch and coffee breaks are provided during the main Symposium days to all registered delegates on the Symposium foyer.

Parking

Participants arriving by car are advised to use the underground parking available.   

Please note parking fees are not included in the registration fees.   

Doctor / First Aid / Emergency

First aid is not available at the venue. In case of emergency, please refer to the hotel reception to ask for assistance or call 112 directly.   

 Insurance and Liability   

The Organisers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained or for loss or damage to property belongings of Symposium participants or accompanying persons either during or because of the Symposium or during the accompanying programme. Participants are strongly recommended to seek insurance coverage for health and accident, lost luggage, and trip cancellation.
