Posters are particularly suitable for the presentation of complex data. Poster presentations carry the same status as oral presentations and will be subject to the same selection process by the Scientific Committee; i.e. by means of written abstracts in English.

    5.

Please be aware that one registered symposium attendant cannot present more than one poster.

    6.

Correction of abstracts can only be done before the deadline of 15 March 2023.

    7.

Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the Scientific Committee for oral or poster presentations. A preference for poster presentation may be indicated while submitting the abstract. Nevertheless, the Scientific Committee will make the final decision about how the abstract should be presented. Notification of abstract acceptance or rejection is based on the average mark awarded by the reviewers.

    8.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book. Abstracts not suitable for display will be rejected. Please have your abstract checked for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and formal structure. The organiser reserves the right to edit abstracts, if necessary, prior to the publication in the Abstract Book.

    9.

All submitters and presenting authors will receive an acceptance/rejection notification via e-mail on 14 March 2023.

    10.

All presenting authors are obliged to register by 3 April 2023.

    11.

It is commonly understood that authors of accepted papers have the financial resources to pay all personal expenses occurred including symposium registration, production of their presentation, travel and accommodation during the symposium.

    12.

Confirmation of acceptance notification is required together with symposium fee payment at a specified date to have the abstract published in the Symposium Abstract Book. Should the author not follow either of these, the organizer reserves the right not to include the author’s work in the Abstract Book.

    Abstract Formatting

      1.

All abstracts must be written in English. Should your abstract be accepted for an oral presentation you must be able to give your presentation in English as well as answer the questions of the audience.

      2.

When submitting your abstract, consider and choose the scientific topic (listed above) and the preferred presentation method. However, the Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on final topic assignment upon abstract selection.

      3.

The abstract title is limited by 200 characters.

      4.

Up to 10 authors incl. the presenting author can be included. The presenting author is selected first; other authors can be added only when the presenting author is included. However, the authors order could be changed if needed by swapping the names in the list of the co-authors. The first name is considered to be the main author.

      5.

Maximum abstract length is 550 words. The system will automatically let you know whether you complied with the rules before accepting your submission.

      6.

The following subdivision of your abstract is recommended but is NOT MANDATORY. There is no need to use every section if not appropriate to your work:

      • Background
      • Objectives
      • Methods
      • Results
      • Conclusion/Application to practice

      7.
